Throughout the company BT has caused many problems, bitterness, heartbreak, employee morale to be lower than rock bottom and in general caused many problems while doing absolutely nothing productive for the company.
Nowhere is this more apparent than the Borger Refinery. Everyday is a new crisis and/or disaster.

Obviously some change was needed, but corporate is destroying the hard working sites and BU’s and continues to forget where the money is made. Most enjoy working at the refinery, they just don’t like working for the company.
Isn’t borger so bad that they give you +1 sgl and extra perks?
So glad I got laid off!
Last 3 years awful.
Agreed. Corporate L&D has to be one of BT’s biggest failures. It’s really sad for those employees because there’s good people in that group. Smart people, experienced people who could help the organization if they weren’t being held hostage by mo--nic leadership. The id--t GM who caused the failure got a demotion in rank yet is still somehow allowed too much power. I hear the new leaders can’t even control her and the rest of the id--t leadership team. Even worse…everyone from the CHRO to HR, employee relations and compliance/ethics knows what’s going on and won’t help. Ask anyone in that group and they’ll tell you the ethics complaints are too many to count and everyone is looking to leave.
Corporate learning and development is also rock bottom. Everyday is a new crisis and/or disaster with that group. Prior to BT, various groups had their own successful training programs, post-BT all training groups fail under corporate L&D.
Facts.
I agree with you. It is very sad the way the company is being managed. I feel hopeless and at the mercy of their social path managers for my livelihood. I don’t think it will get any better either because the company culture is beyond repair.
