I wonder how many commercial printers will fall for the smoke and mirrors of Francis and his leadership team. He and his team are walking the floor unaware that the industry is aware of their misrepresentation of product performance. The ProStream and iX are all the topic behind the curtain from customers with product and service issues. This is a good show for Ricoh to continue to work with customers to remove the Canon inkjet products, no wonder they are selling twice as many presses than Canon.

I don't know why this board is shying away from saying the word, Francis. aka FM
I mean, really, Canon is a public company, and the executives bio and names are published in the public domain.
This guy has had a grudge against HP ever since the day he came from there and took over the reins at CSA. I remember it well and it has all his leadership team and marketing managers scared to pull him back from the edge with all the concessions he makes to outplay HP/Indigo. Sammy needs to stop focusing on CUSA and get his house in order at CSA.
I don't know why this guy has it so in for HP, but it must have been he-l for him there.
For those that went to the show, I heard that the new Canon press wasn't even printing or plugged in. Sounds like a waste of time and money. Anyone have the real story?
LOL CUSA dominance. Start with getting the wifi to work consistently in Melville. The policies Sammy have implemented are very unpopular with the people.
I wouldn't worry about the florida office, Sammy will clean house and get the job done. Three months and counting to CUSA dominance.
Someone on this site has a fixation with FM.
makes no sense to have such an expense in a florida office when the NY facility is huge, and BOCA is usually empty. I hear that the paycheck for FM is going away, that was the word on the street at the show.
Boca is a shame, and I can't believe it continues. A marketing and professional services organization that should support the customers in the field and the field organization. Yet, it's always not their problem, push it back to the local analyst.
Can't wait to work directly with Melville next year.
Fact Checker, what part of the post is non-factual. Fact Check it yourself, IDC a well-known research organization has published the facts regarding Ricoh and other vendors in this space regarding the actuals and press installations. Secondly, did you even go to the show? I did and can testify as there were numerous Canon customers shopping around, this is a fact. Since you are so good at fact checking, maybe you will look at next quarters publication from IDC and we will see how many sales and installations were made post show.
Take your emotion somewhere else.
Your post is nonsense. Please don't make any statements without knowing the true financial success of PPS and the product line. I understand you were let go for apparent reasons, but your posting non-factual facts with no merit make this post-non-valid and stupid!
Interesting how Ricoh is cutting 2,000 jobs.
More Ricoh boxes may be sold because those machines are throwaways. And who can forget the fiasco with the iGen at Drupa where they needed to use fire extinguishers to put out the fire. Xerox got smoked.
FM is a just another paycheck that’s not producing. Most of those Boca blow holes are aged out and know jack about the industry and how to sell into it.
