Totally agree about the dead weights and culture...will also add favoritism, nepotism and several other -isms one can think of.
Start with the poster boy of 5G functional team...the short, dark-complexioned south indian version of Napoleon (AKumXXX). Only shouts and mistreats all his male reportees, while hanging out/sleeping with all the women reporting to him.
Best example is his now-roommate SSundXXX also from the same team! Everybody sees how women under him get promoted but alas, nothing is done about it.
Fire Chilla. Ego driven sr. Dir survive only on politics. No innovations under him. Also count number of CR raised under him in past 5 years. It’s below average.
Dead weight upper layer. Steering Qualcomm from innovation to A*kissing organization to satisfy personal gains. Need major change from outside as majority of cream already left. Even though it closed entirely there will no impact on Qualcomm. But if those left over get into competitor companies, Qualcomm will have huge gain.
