Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Who remembers when Christoph …

During Q1 ACM arrogantly stood when cruise question was asked and said it’s my own budget to spend. Now employees and investors have a right to ask what is the ROI?

I was on the cruise and the training component of it was really lacklustre. We could have just watched the keynotes remotely, and the group assignment they made us do was not well organized and moderated. They made us do a lame test which was super easy to pass without even attending the training.

There was free flow drinks and food, and felt like a paid holiday. There were networking events but the music was too loud to get a word in.

Really irresponsible for the company to be spending the money on extravagant trainings and then announcing mass layoffs the same year. Where’s the accountability?

CS should get the axe during a company meeting in front of everyone.

Surely, sales recovered incredibly in Q2! After all, the cruise was not just a drunken weekend for the sales teams and it was specifically to get sales people trained on the strategy Captain Christoph laid out. And that has to be FTF, because that's the most effective way to train sales people.

The proof is in the pudding, why look Q2 sales were... Oh. wait. Sales were down YoY. Again.

huh.
