You may survive this wave of layoffs, but god knows what will become of Intel. I’m looking at my job as being on a chopping block regardless of what happens with Intel in the near future. I started looking for another job when all this mess started. It’s not a good job market, but I’m hoping with patience and a bit of luck I will be able to find something decent. Have backup, don’t allow yourself to be jumped by some unexpected decisions at the top that may affect you negatively.

Also it’s very alarming how many are banking on ISP packages. Dont! Plan and prepare as if you will get nothing if you are fired.
