Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Home and community ISNP I’m scared

I work in ISNP and I am very nervous. The budgets are out of control and we are consistently missing them across the entire country by big numbers. The competition is breathing down our necks and our partners are being less than cooperative with sales. While I don’t think the business fails any mo--n can see that we can’t sustain the way we are with the amount of staff we have. This all makes me very nervous for any type of job security. The leaders keep saying everything is fine and we are making money but others who were laid off said they were told the same thing before being axed. I am very nervous with the holidays coming not a good time to get laid off.

Just took an offer in a competitor ISNP, the difference is amazing!!! Better staffing, much better health insurance, I asked a colleague about staffing and layoffs and got a crazy look. Raises are also a real thing

I fear and am leaving for a competitor. Competitors are growing fast, value the skills you have as it reduces training, esp on RAF and Heidis. They know they are downsizing while competitors are being published with record and fastest growth awards.

Home and Community is falling apart and I’ve been around 15 years, it’s never looked like this, even if the competitor doesn’t do as big a bonus ,everyone I’ve explored has a better health plan, raises are 3 to 5 % every year and the leadership culture is not so toxic.

Can you even name a VP who hasn’t gone elsewhere ? The hang on leaders promoted to VP are poor substitutes

It’s a total mess. Leadership is clueless on visionary problem solving. They keep going back to the same ole playbook that worked 10 yrs ago. News flash people business evolves and changes so if you don’t change you fail to exist anymore. History keeps replaying itself over and over and over
