Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

When is that fated board meeting?

Any info? I'm sure they'll use that meeting as yet another excuse to drag out this slow harakiri, saying the board needs time to review the options, while ELT figures out the best packages for themselves and line up buyers to gut this company. I'm sick to my stomach.

@ihf why would Broadcom buy a money hole like foundry? Makes no sense. Are they really getting denied leading node wafer capacity at tsmc or Samsung?

Well placed source is they will announce next week foundry sold to Broadcomm, Ireland and Israel site will be gutted , VSP on those sites , Ireland especially will be heavily denied to allow broadcomm complete the gut on cheaper packages saves Intel a ton. Executives at both sites getting out now ahead of this cull with their cronnies
