Probably just rumors, but I heard that in a few months ,up to a year they will be forcing people to stay a minimum of 4h a day/3 times a week in the office.

Depends on the location.
In EU there is GDPR in place, so tracking in any way your location/time in the office on behalf of the employee and without their consent is illegal.
Maybe don’t spread another urban legend
So... let me get this straight.
Monday, work from home... start early, take an early call with Germany, get some actual work done, walk the dog, go to lunch with the wife, come home, work some more, eat dinner, take a late call with APJ, answer emails while watching TV with the wife.
Tuesday... Well... since I have to go into the office for 4 hours. Walk the dog, then drive into the office to get there around 11. After finding a remote desk and getting my stuff set up, head to lunch. Eat lunch in the cafeteria, catching up with co-workers, talking about how crazy and inefficient this 4 hour thing is. Work 12 to 3, head home. Dinner with the wife. Forget about email, since I'm so disgusted with my commute. Crash early.
Wednesday... refer to Tuesday.
Thursday... refer to Tuesday
Friday... refer to Monday.
Sounds like a great idea.
They should stop mucking around and fire me if they have an issue with RTO attendance. This is an opportunity to double my salary again, and finally sign a contract that has the word "remote" enshrined in its employment conditions given the cost of living crisis and high housing prices.
I don't enforce RTOs. Period. Sooner or later they will start clock watching your toilet breaks and use that as an excuse to fire you.
RTO isn’t strictly enforced at the moment but you can be sure that some team at SAP has all the office attendance data. Whether they'll make use of it is anyone's guess.
They don't monitor this. If you are being forced to RTO, it's because your manager is either an a--hole or a mo--n.
The only levels pursuing RTO are the board level (CK), and the bottom level of management.
My manager has already told us that she does not care. As long as work gets done to the same high standard, we can work wherever we like. Nobody is asking her for numbers or clock-in times, nor do they have access to badge swipe data.
I come in once a week, if they wanna fire me go ahead. Plenty of better employers
This is a lie. Don’t fall for it.
Is anyone really monitoring this?
You mean to tell me that I can now get in 3 ( instead of 2) pinochle games, plus take a nap, 3 days a week?
Fantastic, this can not start fast enough!!!
So this is how hassos puppet will increase turnover without spending VERP
