Smart thinking by Qualcomm to get quick traction with their new laptop sales. This could be transformative for the PC market and give consumers a better option besides Intel. That said, I don't think Intel will ever be able to sell that segment to Qualcomm or any other buyer. Without client computing, Intel is dead in the water. Datacenter business is not going to save Intel.
The only group that consistently brings in $ for Intel - if we lose CCG then that has to be nail in coffin
It would be poetic justice if they do buy Intel's PC business and run it straight into the ground and take it as a tax write-off.
