They took a huge part of the industry and completely demolished it.
Really shameful the damage the french have done to the industry.
The industry is in decline and CGG has a very large debt.

Not sure the cleaner reference is a useful comparison unless their job description now includes major corporate decisions and responsibility for the company's operations.
There’s a cleaner in one of the UK offices that has been there since around the time Sophie joined, maybe it’s his fault instead.
You may want to learn about the difference between correlation and causation. Maybe there are one or more other factors involved in causing what you observe.
