Has anyone else feeling the constant stress of when the next RIF announcement has been? All year different groups have been laid off. The recent acquisition feels like the worst decision they could’ve made.

Several notified of layoffs from the Enterprise Shared Services IT world. Close to 20 total in the last month or so. More likely to be announced.
@8liu+1upDTzw0 “Reorganization” is not new. Companies have been using that same tired word to supposedly rebrand the same impending sh**show (aka layoff) for years. Trust. It’s right up there with “flatter org chart,” “streamlining,” or “mandatory retirement” (for a really old one), and of course, the ever popular “VBO.” Same 💩, different shade.
Was told last week there is likely to be some restructuring and possible merging of space and mission systems and electronics systems. For example the mission systems and space systems product lines in ES do a lot of similar work.
