So how many folks in OKC will get whacked come October 1? There is still a lot of corporate fat -- namely people who just put on events, go to ribbon cuttings and BS company awards dinners don't really do anything otherwise. Especially since we only really work two days a week but get paid for five. Check out social media for chk and you can start to draft the RIF list. Cuts will be much deeper than these folks tho.

Destiny for survivors is Houston. And you are right about the fat. There wasn't fat until we decided that we aren't really an e and p company. We are just financial engineering company. You don't need a bunch of people and fancy buildings in a corporate headquarters in a state where we have no operations. Simple as that. The company radically changed direction from when you were here.
I am one of those poor souls that got erased in 2020 after the chapter 11 filing.
Reading these posts about fat to cut truly mesmerizes me, I was under the impression that fat, meat and some bone were gone long time ago. I guess I am wrong. So what is the destiny of those who accidentally survive these new layoffs???
TB, you don't need to tell everyone that you work one day, we already know this.
The FAT is so thick. World Fair Prize winners around here. Can do the work with cutting it in half. It's more like 1 work day.....
