Yes, sir. You are correct. That ended in 2014. Now, it appears they are getting away with paying the same wages as 10 years ago but with twice the inflation. Seems a bit absurd. "Be happy to have a job as they used to say when things were going awry."
They hey day of big paychecks for thousands is over. The pay will still be good but the jobs will be way fewer and competition for any spot will be fierce.
