Before you get laid off, you have one last chance to dig through Intel dumpsters to find brand new computers, power strips, soldering equipment, tablets, cables, adapters, keyboards, and mice. They'll get rid of you either way, so might as well take some extra stuff with you.

Even if you don't like to take stuff from the Intel dumpster, at least walk over and take a look at what Intel throws away in the trash. You'll be amazed at the wasteful behavior of brand new equipment being thrown in the dumpster! And no a lot of the trash is pre-production fully functional prototypes and are designated for destruction due to intellectual property. I even found fully functional Intel cell phones that I could play Android games on.
All kids of ways to make cash from dumpster diving.
Go after the equipment from Tek or others. Working or not.
Cables have metal that can be stripped and resold.
Don't even get me started on all the scrap metal - mostly aluminum.
And, if someone was daring enough, get PCB's and etch out the gold.

Intel products are not reliable even selling to customers. Why do you want to dig in the dumpsters to get their products?

Usually before and during large layoffs, the dumpsters are full of Intel awards and tee-shirts discarded by departing employees.
