Laurent's Org here. They promoted a lead (supervisor) of 2 year experience to a Sr. Director role over, a Director (13 yrs Exp), Sr. Manager (15 yrs Exp), and a Manager (10 yrs Exp). WTF is going on? If they don't fix this asap, this team is going down FAST.

I wouldn't make the mistake of assuming that years of experience means someone is good or even competent at their role or their job.
