To give you a sense of the scale, Ellison has reportedly donated $20 million to Opportunity Matters this cycle alone, which is a record for him. This contribution accounts for a staggering 78% of the super PAC’s funds for the current election cycle. For context, this is a huge leap from his previous high of $7.3 million in 2020.

Is there a chance that the merger could lead to more conservative content or influence in CBS & Viacom's programming or political stance, given Ellison's substantial GOP contributions?

To all the folks arguing against woke and DEI and think they have common sense: you are playing right into the hands of the billionaires that are about to push you into unemployment. They are distracting you with identity politics while they steal right out of your pocket. If it’s not directly impacted you yet, it will eventually. They don’t care about your values, your politics, your culture, they will literally crush anything or anyone just to make themselves a bit richer. People on the right and left should be uniting against the real bad actors here: the mega rich.
