Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

GoGo Says

GoGo says that there will be a tight market for gasoline and diesel in 2025 making for good profits.
And maybe there will be, but he also has said that BT is a good thing for the company and look how badly that has worked out.
We’ll just have to wait and see.

What happened to Midstream? Isn't that where we were the strongest and growing the most? Did the DCP merger ki-l that progress?

With Midstream strong, the impact of refining being flat, up or down was less critical. We've seemed to once again put all our trust in refining to carry us.

Where I work nothing has been done to improve reliability so even if Go Go is correct in his assessment of good refining margins in 2025, it’s questionable whether we will be able to fully take advantage of the margins.

Market will be weak next year for refining. Capacity is up and running well.

The way he seems to hang on Z's every word, I wouldn't be surprised if she told him about the gasoline prices next year and he believed she knows what she's talking about.

Everywhere I read it says diesel prices are supposed to keep going down or remain flat with the Mexico refineries coming online early next year).
