Qualcomm wants to butcher Intel

[ Exclusive: Qualcomm has explored buying pieces of Intel chip design
business ]

Yet another fake news to dismember INTC and sell its parts to sinophile
scavengers.

The only solution for Intel to make money is to keep its foundries
for itself and shutdown its foundry business.

INTC doesn't need to compete against TSMC with fake nodes that nobody
wants to pay the full price without taxes against TSMC productions
subsidized by the National Development Fund from Taïpei but nVidia with
advanced designs tailored for its own reliable nodes upto 14 nm DUV or
more reliable using EUV with a reduced mask count.

Advanced designs could be flat multidies processors similar to AMD or
more complex stacked assemblies (see Foveros) with staked compute
slices with at most 4 cores each for example.

Note that cache takes ~50 % of processors footprint and can be
crystalized similarly as 3D NAND to shrink its footprint.

Who the he-l thought INTC could sell its foundry services without
showing off its efficiency with its own products?

Anyway Pat Gelsinger should be retired once for all since he's just
a crook!

I don't know what you're talking about. Intel no longer has the volume to fund future nodes. It will wither as PCs diversify (been to Best Buy lately?) and AMD takes the lead in datacenter.
