People being laid off is funny to you?

Dell is a large organization where some departments have experienced layoffs while others remain unaffected for the time being. For those who have been laid off, please inform us of your department whenever possible. This will help us provide accurate feedback to our readers and gain a clearer understanding of the company's current situation. I fully understand the grievances of my coworkers and extend my heartfelt sympathy once again to everyone affected by these layoffs.

Some accounts continue to appear as active despite individuals having been laid off since March 2024.

Stop being so melodramatic. Good times come, good times go.
Just need to survive thru the bad times.
If the worst thing right now is a severance and no longer working at Dell, I don't think it's that bad.

Check Active Directory for terminated accounts and you'll see all the proof you need.

Why are you on a dell layoff page if you don't work for the company

Such a sad post as this company has great products, people, and history. I don't work for this company, and you cannot single it out as it's a nationwide trend, but it's obvious to anyone reading this one and others in this forum that the soul of the American workforce is being te--orized and destroyed. It's like people are being hunted down and 'removed' for little to no good reason from what I can understand - well beyond the party line that's always given. How can anyone live like this and do a job - any job with the fear, uncertainty, and doubt of constantly having the 'Layoff' threat hanging over you?!? I know this is one major reason services across the entire American landscape are suffering and we're all feeling it.

I'll never understand how people find it so easy to destroy what generations of people have spent their lives building and securing for the betterment of, not just themselves, but a magnitude of others as well. Again, this is a cancer afflicting so many people and places.

Reminds me of the horrifying scene from the movie "The Deer Hunter". If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about.
