Finally got my severance

WFR from Aug 9. They are so backlogged it took a month to get my severance.
HR closed out the first batch.
Now they have bandwidth to start processing September layoffs.

8 weeks base severance plus 1 week per completed year of service capped at 26 weeks max total severance, Plus pro-rated IBP paid at 75%.
All comes in 1 lump sum in 1 to 2 pay cycles after your notice.

For your last pay check did you feel it was short a week. They said they pay the same week but I don't believe that to be the case.

Don't forget that your severance amount may not even qualify you for unemployment benefits! Maybe they'll cough up a couple extra hundred dollars but that's all you'll get!
