There have been quite a few about SAP looking to acquire some medium company. Anything new on that front? For US based employees red flags come up screaming whenever someone mentions ‘acquisition”, because for us it usually means period of uncertainty, reorgs, cuts, layoffs, spiced with managerial confusion.

Yeah, the fired Board members will be the new amusement ride operators at the "Twilight Zone Tower", this one fits them pretty good.
Still looks like they are going after Disneyworld - we need a make believe place for all of our "former" Board members to hang out with each other and to hold a place for the remaining ones to have a landing spot once they are also canned.
