Heard a rumor from high level about rehiring all of the recent BT RIFs

Heard a rumor today Baker is trying to rehire all of the “business transformation” RIFs after admitting MCB has sc--wed up. Can anyone confirm?

Main cuts were 6 months ago. Everyone I know that was cut is happy elsewhere and will never go back. I personally know at least a dozen more that have left the sinking ship voluntarily.

Baker is a case study in how not to run a business. They are losing work left and right due to lack of competent people left. I know I'm never going back, quality of life is so much better elsewhere.

There is a PSI business that canned people and moved the work to another plant off shore. How’s that working out for the customers???

The key lesson learned in the Aberdeen Scotland mess is, don’t put unqualified and inexperienced people in management. Serves them right.

The big RIF was in Q1, 6 months ago.
You think people are sitting around waiting for that dumpster fire to call them back?

Personally, the offer amount and golden parachute required for me to leave my new job would make it a "non-negotiable."

Once you managed to get a redundancy package out of them why on earth would you want to get back? Perfect opportunity to take it easy and use the time to look for a better job / company imho

BT would be last on the list. Frontline folks would suit better that belonged to a profit center.
