More fake news from loyal lackeys who think they have an ounce of job security. These layoffs are more like 20% and will continue through end of year. The only safe ones are married to SVPs, and that is it.
Layoffs will be very small if any
No Jeff Clark. Stop spreading fake news. It’s more like 15-30%. We’ve dropped 25K people in the past 12 months.
wow, lots of people with privileged information on this board.
This will be an ongoing process until headcount is sub <90k (likely to be closer to 80k). Y’all need to get used to that as the status quo for the next year. I’m really sorry if this affects you, it feels grossly unfair, but unfortunately it’s the reality of working for a large global capitalist organisation.
8%? On top of the recent sales layoffs, no way will it be that high
"Sir, does this mean Ann-Margaret's not coming?..."
Sales are having a soft layoff.
Basically targets go up so much we cant hit them and we leave without a payoff.
Then Dell brings in grads at lower account manager level.
In Europe its very hard to just cut numbers as we have tougher employment law.
i heard 8% and that none are spared - cept sales which already got the chop chop
We were told 8% across all dell + a lot of movement;
chop chop in the next few weeks
