Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Can we ask Dave?

Why isn't he the first one to go?
I am curious as to what the VP to employee ratio is, and how many of those decision makers should actually be held accountable?

VPs are never ever held accountable for their horrible decisions.

The worker bees however, are held accountable for the VPs decisions.

A perfect system.

Agree he needs to go - at worst he’s totally incompetent ; at best he’s spineless and wouldn’t stand up to Pat and say ‘we
Can’t afford it’ - either way , and most likely the former (way out of this depth) he should be fired for not being even close to a quarterly forecast is one of the worlds most predictable businesses ! Muppet

He is the money man and knows all the inside information. No way he is going anywhere unless if he is given the golden parachute.

One major reason why Intel is struggling is bcz of all previous random layoffs that rarely touched management and VPs. When you let those who get the job done go you end up with bunch of people who are good at talking and giving you pleasant outlook but don’t know how to do it and lack the skills of doing it.

Do you really think they will not protect their own?
