Since more than half of office is empty they can setup bunk beds. People can just live there. Go home once a year. I pity the Americans and the Europeans who are not used to this setup.

Some people commuted 50 miles each way and 4 hours a day to be in office. They were laid off too.
Some studies have found that a longer commute increases the odds of divorce. For example, those odds go up by more than 40% if just one person has a commute that exceeds 45 minutes. The impact could be even more pronounced if both people have a long commute or if it is substantially more than 45 minutes.
Don’t worry, even if you return to office you’ll eventually be laid off too.

You mean are they OK to move to a location that would make it practical to commute to an office (less than 50 miles)? By definition, those of us within 50 miles are already classified as In Office workers.

The "return" part of RTO is somewhat interesting in the context of those that were hired as remote employees before Covid.
