I have not even heard from my new manager other than a Google chat that said, I would be reporting to them. We are not even in the same company. No direction. No clue what I do each day. I don't blame her. People are lost. Can't wait for the next town hall. What a flaming bag of cr-p this has turned into.

You are in the same company, that is the whole point of this process. Maybe you should reach out to them if you don't know what you should be doing. I imagine it is the same job you were doing before the change.
If you're feeling stuck or unfulfilled in your current role, don't just wait for things to change. Take control and start actively applying for new jobs. That's the best way to open up new opportunities and find a position that's a better fit for you. I'm doing it myself right now!
