For Q1 & Q2 2024 earnings report, Larger layoffs: Layoffs happened 2 days after quarterly earnings reported.
Q1 2024 earnings reported: Tuesday, April 16 2024 - Large Layoff: Thursday, April 18 2024
Q2 2024 earnings reported: Tuesday, July 16 2024 - Large Layoff: Thursday, July 18 2024
Q3 2024 earnings reporting date in October 2024 has not been announced yet.
Note: 2023 quarterly earnings were reported on Fridays.
Examples:
Q4 2023 earning reported on Friday, January 12 2024.
Q3 2023 earnings reported on Friday, October 13 2023.
What is date for October layoff?
The layoff occur with the earning call. The next earning call is Oct and so layoff will be right before that.

I really do appreciate this forum, but the comments with incomplete comments are tough, like these: "I’ve heard it won’t be as big as the on 7/18." or "Brace for shock! It is going to be massive. As big or bigger than the earlier ones this year." Can either of you elaborate, whom are you hearing this form,. are they reliable or is this your own theory???
