I wish people would stop asking things like "Are there going to be more layoffs" or "what can I do to make sure I'm safe."
Here is the answer: Nothing. There is nothing you can do. We are all at risk and not just at Global. Your job, at any company, is always at risk. Stop pretending otherwise.

corporate-speak with shill buzzwords are about as enlightening as watching paint dry.
'It was a specific and limited action which we genuinely feel bad about, but we truly believe we are now prepared for the glorious GP2025 future of sunshine and rainbows. Please forget we also did the same thing and said the same thing 6 months ago, 12 months ago, 6 months before that and so on. Those actions were taken without the great guidance of your new McKinsey leadership, so please believe us when we tell you that it's not going to happen again in 6 months time.' #neveragainuntilthenexttime
