One silver lining of this wave is that the management is more impacted than the rest.

That is just wishful thinking. Management will get more due consideration than those at the bottom. They will slash the bottom first then bring in people from management to fill in.
JG2+ typically have "tenure" and help each other out
It would be good if it were true, but it’s not true. In Exploration JG2+ is growing! Overall, JG2+ is less impacted than 3-5, just count the boxes. There’s more shuffling, wheeling and dealing, and leaders talking out the side of their mouth. Truth is- they will save their friends and most of them are JG2+
