Any idea post split, with Intel possibly selling of Altera, what would happen to Intel software oneAPI and software AI frameworks, Developer cloud and the teams in Developer cloud.
Would those units would be a separate selloff and possibly Nvidia can buy those seeing the benefits in software enhancements.

IDC will remain under Greg in corporate. Software Engineering Group including OS and developer tools move to a combination of DCAI and CCG.
I think it is time for Intel to get rid of his software and IDC business. I agree, it absolutely does nothing for the bottom line, while costing millions. Give Greg his golden parachute and let him go...
It's just Greg's playground where he hired his cronies from vmWare and they are now reinventing blockchain and pretending to act like a startup but with zero accountability and fat salaries. Zero market value with hundreds of miliony already burnt.
This is something they can shut tomorrow and nobody will notice … that muppet Lavender has sunk millions into duplicating what others already offer (and do it better) … this needs to go now ! What a waste of time …
Intel should outsource all software and keep firmware in-house.
Intel was never serious about software. You can pretty much junk it.
They will be ZBBd
All of those things OP mentioned do not solve any customer problems.
Again, Intel builds things that nobody asked for and wonders why it doesn’t gain adoption…
Intel software is worth exactly zero.
