Thread regarding Global Payments Inc. layoffs

Don’t pick up the work after colleagues who were let go

Let them sort out the problem they created. Let offshore teams do the work. Never solve problems others created, never take on the responsibility for anything that doesn’t strictly fall within your usual scope of duties. They want less people on the payroll? Then they should cover for their work. They want a cheap workforce offshore? Then those teams should pick up the work, basically the same day layoffs are being done. I don’t care if there's a shortage of people or that offshore teams can not do quality work. Not my problem.
