It's a BIG expense vs per employee revenue generator. Once it was good but lately IDC takes it for granted they will never be impacted since AIPAC controls USA. They haven't produced any competitive products lately while enjoying permanent employment

IDC is very valuable to the company. This thread is off the rails. There is no serious debate on the value of IDC.

When was the last time US site came up with competitive design? Pentium 3?
I retired from.Intel long ago. Even then folks at Israel came across as pushy and relishing unproductive arguments.
I’ve VSPing and I won’t miss their screaming at people. They make the environment unnecessarily stressful.
the management chains in IDC are also very arrogant and constantly shout at people.
