Has anything been confirmed yet? Do we know the exact date?

someone mentioned on thread layoffs on sep 16. What a lie.
If they don’t have finances to pay for q4 operations and q4 starts in a couple of weeks, then wouldn’t they need to do a BK or something to cut costs before Novembers debt due date?
To the previous comment. They said they do not have finances to pay Q4 operations and Q4 starts in October. I am not sure when companies have to pay for the operations for a quarter, either in the beginning or end of the quarter.
I have seen bigger companies do it when the quarter call lines up close to a debt date. Sears did it like that if memory serves me right.
I am thinking the mass layoffs might be coming in November 2nd week, same as last year. That is when they would have received the 3rd quarter results and they will make a decision about the layoffs at that time. This time also aligns with their $2B debt maturing in November 15, 2024.
Dish / Boost employees aren’t fools - they are decent, hardworking people who don’t deserve to be disparaged for doing the best they can to support their families and themselves.
They are almost all looking for jobs and turnover is incredibly high right now. There is a steady stream of people leaving, more and more every day. You may have noticed the economy isn’t great at the moment, otherwise it would be a lot higher.
I don't recall seeing anything on social media about a VP leaving. And that date could me a lie. Time will tell.

Who was that & who else?

Looking good.

Their VP of Product, Marketing and Channel Strategy just left yesterday. Lots of quiet exits recently, so yes feels like something is coming. Collapse of business seems close
They said they have the spectrum worth billions. Not sure when payments for operations are usually paid by companies. As time goes, at the beginning, or at the end of the quarter?
It's coming. Maybe not this month, but it's coming. When the company openly says it doesn't have enough cash flow to fund operations through the end of the year, what do you think is going to happen?! Nobody is going to loan this company money and they don't have anything of value to sell for the amount of money that they need to pay the debt AND continue to operate. When outside analysts are pretty positive that bankruptcy is going to happen, you'd be pretty stupid to believe otherwise. Everything is NOT fine. I sure won't feel bad for the fools that get let go at this point. If you're too ignorant and gullible to believe the Dish cr-p, you deserve what's coming. See where that Dish loyalty leaves you before Christmas.
At one point someone said March, then after March, it was by the end of summer for sure, now someone said September. People are just guessing.
Dish is about to get a lot of new subscribers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugwgp0w4pBY
Just because a company has some financial stress does not mean it will lay everyone off. Selling spectrum could take months to agree on the price with negotiating. Not sure.
Maybe layoff does not happen.
I'm personally hoping it happens as soon as possible, so I don't have to stress throughout the entire month.
