Intel's TMG/TD culture is so arrogant that they think their process recipe is holy grail that nobody has and Oregon is the center of the universe. This and the overall Intel's nepot$sm culture of protecting one's own (promotion of PEs/SeniorPEs/Fellow, layoffs, hiring, rewarding, shielding, hiding etc) has led to its demise!

That's like saying sun revolves around earth. TMG/TD have been arrogant bunch for years. They will bring it down to the ground with their toxic mix and slip ups.

Will likely be downvoted to oblivion due to the TD folks on the site...BUT Intel could shave so much inventory $ if TMG/TD stopped hoarding spare parts they haven't used across any site in the last 10 years just because they "might" need it. They spend $ like crazy on OEM spares just because they "think" it would bring a tool back up. Financial discipline is insanely overlooked.
Not to mention TMG/TD have historically be spared from layoffs until now...they have yet to really shave off any bloat. They are babied and spoiled by all the folks who do the actual work (techs, OEM engineers) while they sit at home doing data collection.
