Anyone know the total headcount loss in the last year?
And anyone know if a list by department and protected class has been provided?
If you have them, you probably have a class action lawsuit.
Tick tock.

The greatest part is it’s the managers and directors who are being canned which makes sense given how inept and incompetent they alol are. I’ve been on cruise control for over a year and it’s a hilarious carousel of management and upper management being terminated.
Sure makes my job beyond easy. Every time I get any assignment, just delay.. delay.. then they’re canned. Bingo, no work needed to be done. Unless you count firing up my $15 mouse jiggler from Amazon.
Going to start a betting pool on who’s next to be fired of those left.
Anyway, back to work at my 2 actual jobs. MSG doesn’t count, other than a bi-weekly direct deposit into my account.
Then add October's layoff of 10% of the overall company. Which I believe was 600-800+ individuals from what the news stations were reporting.
So, close to 1,100-1,500 people give or take. Those are just the ones we're aware of just at Medical Solutions alone. I don't think that includes any of the other companies such as Aya, Cross Country, etc that we work closely with as well that also has been going through layoffs.
2024 numbers = 328
The total includes RIFs, with cause, tech admin accounts, and voluntary.
It is not inclusive because of how terms are logged by different analysts. So the count will be higher, but no way of knowing what is purely RIF.
I'm not sure how they are doing it now, but when I was laid off in October, my manager was not even made aware. Roughly an hour after the lay-off announcement was made, I received a zoom invite with only two people. The head of my dept and a HR rep.
After that first round in October, they didn't put any info into the severance package on how many. So, it must have just been that first round that they did that.
In the severance paperwork I received last October there is a list by position that details how many people were let go in the first round.
No idea the actual total amount. But can guarantee it's now over 1,500+ since October. I do know that the managers are obtaining a list of people to call and let go about 2-3 days before the call occurs. So the managers probably have a list of some sort each time a layoff is occurring if it is affecting there department. The managers would have to come together to combine there lists to know the exact total amount.
If you think about it the managers are the ones (as well as an extra HR person) on the calls/video calls so the managers are being notified somehow of who to call to let go.
