How many on the MC and LCMs are actually American?

For XOM being an American company, it is mostly run by non-Americans.

And we wonder why XOM is outsourcing so much.

Our execs are Canadian and European because they are cheaper than American talent, but talented enough to keep the ship afloat. The problem is they come from socialist countries. They'll never truly be able to keep the company profitable without select American direction.

As an employee said in circa 1990, "It is better to be a stockholder than an employee. Stockholders are treated much better than employees."

We have been outsourcing US and EU work to lower cost countries for 40 years. Prague, Budapest, Thailand, Kuala Lumpur, Buenos Aires, Peoples Republic of China...).

The global pandemic (Covid 19) just accelerated the outsourcing to India...etc.

India would be glad to send back the uninspiring, gossip believing LCM to the US. Please take him back, we get you dont like us but there has to be some moral code against sending LCM ‘leaders’ like him. Promting close favorites only all the time. We’d rather go local with LCM.

Keep the semi-Americanized pretentious Indian expats with identity crisis issues away from Manager positions as well , please. They cannot accept that lower paid people than them are better AND happier in India. They still think its 2002. They dont stand anywhere close to good Indian corporate leaders and would be sotting jobless if had to survive in India.

But yes India LCM with 50 % of salary as LCM expat will be 4 times as efficient, at least.

The Europeans gamed the system for years by over inflating potentials of mediocre employees. They knew they were the least profitable and lowest volume region, and the only way to salvage their jobs was to infiltrate leadership positions so they could reprioritize their lagging business and drink wine at lunch.
