Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Is it even possible for morale to get any worse?

I swear, I can't remember the last time I saw somebody smiling. It's all doom and gloom, and for a good reason.

@3onk+1ugQIkze the only problem is that MD, JC other senior leaders don’t seem to be suffering even a little bit. They create the strategies, they decide on headcount, hiring and firing levels, but whether successful or not, they make their fortunes. Where are their salary cuts?

1kqj+1ugQIkze: "Yes morale is terrible and our cowardly leadership is hiding. Imagine being such a coward that you don’t have the guts to even show your face or even send an email to let people know the strategy, what’s happening and why?
Dell leadership is filled with cowards and con men. That should be their slogan."

FYI: No one is a coward at the leadership level. They openly mention the end-result if the metrics are not met. They have been saying it to every executive in weekly meetings for over a year as I know.
No one is a coward.
But everyone is a Con.. at every level/ hierarchy of employment at Dell. If everyone worked honestly , then one Conman would not survive in that honest environment.
If everyone is a Conman, then one honest employee cannot survive in that environment for long.
So you are also responsible even if to a lesser percentage in con job,

I think y’all are in danger of sounding a little bitter. Come on team, glass half full positive vibes only from here onwards. We’ll catch more flies with honey over vinegar!

It’s possible for morale to be worse if you are in dd and attended that sh-t show of a goodbye to Jen Fe--h and hello to Doug the reaper Schmitt. God bless her. Most aren’t feeling the same about him.
