You get loyalty from people not a company.
Only stupid people believe in One Intel slogan or "we are family" or "make the shiitt great again"
There's a saying where I live, that if the company claims to be like a family, it only means that they'll expect you to work 16 hours per day without compensation.
When you boss tell you our team is like a family, run asap.
All he or anyone else needs to do is to bring back hope and make it real.
