In China, the insurance ends since your lastday.
I was laid off in August of 2023. Dell continued to pay their portion of my health benefits for two months post-departure. After that, I had to pay all of it myself. Cost was $1600/mo for me and my spouse.
You must opt into Cobra by going into the Well Dell portal and checking an opt in box. Then after 2 months, you will be billed if you accept Cobra after 2 months. It's ~ $1,200 to $1,500 per month to keep medical, dental, and eye.
2 months of paid COBRA coverage is offered.
