The U.S. added 142,000 clean energy jobs last year, with employment in the emerging sector growing more than twice as fast as the rest of the energy industry and the economy overall, the Department of Energy said Wednesday in an annual report. Of the more than 250,000 jobs added in the energy sector last year, 56% involved clean energy, the agency found.

Amazing how the labor department is allowed to double dip on these jobs reports. re their more union electrician jobs, or are the union elections that would be building a building, putting up a battery storage site?
Most construction jobs are by nature temporary and will go where the work is whether it is private or government, but they are not "new: jobs, nor do these figures account for the jobs being lost due to changes in demand.
