And I hope you realize Pat stated in the all company meeting he always knew these cuts would be necessary, he just didn't think they would be needed so soon. How's that for saving anyone's job? No, I'd say Pat is looking out for number one, while treating the rest of us like number two.

What kind of a save is it? to be stuck on a sinking ship, rats crawling all over, constant threat of further layoffs, stocks in the toilet and never a moment of peace or joy forever....
Instead of making a clean cut and go work for a winning team like NVDA, AMD, AAPL, QCOM, MSFT .. the world would be your oyster.

My guess is that Tan wanted a 25% cut. PG held it to 15%.
