I have had a very hard 2024 in my personal life with several tragedies. The anxiety of losing my job has added a new dimension of grief and mental stress. If I had signed a reemployment letter then had it taken away in Step 2, it would push me over the edge. They can only press us so much.

I pray for better days for us all.

Impacted in Step 1 but successfully posted in Step 1. Signed my HR reemployment letter yesterday. Logged in today only to be told that I'm reimpacted in Step 2. So now I have to reapply again in Step 2. No clue how many positions are available in Step 2.

Whoever designed the IDT reorg is either high, an id--t or both. Shell no longer demonstrates care for people. If Shell cared they wouldnt create a process that forced people to go through two reorgs back to back within days of each other. Shell is cruel to sign reemployment letter yesterday only to sn---h it away today.

Yes managers know who is impacted. Org charts come out in a couple of weeks. My usual informants in leadership are under NDA.

I know of several JG4s impacted and some JG2s.
