Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

People should not cheer Lip-Bu Tan for exiting now

Intel didn’t find itself in problems last week. This is the result of accumulated mistakes, bad decisions and failed leadership/mgmt over a long stretch of time. It’s easy to leave once the lid blows up and dirt starts bubbling up. These people should have reacted a long time ago, at the inception of the current direction of Intel the earliest, and at any junction leading to this sh-tshow the latest. They all failed at oversight.

He only joined the board 2 years ago.

The real issue with the board is it's full of inexperienced people which gives the CEO free reign and if the CEO is bad there's no one with a brain to talk back.

Sorry, He is no hero. He must have exited two years ago when IDM v2 was beginning to flounder.
