The drunken captain is at it again. We are all familiar with some of his greatest hits - Cruises, trips to Davos, weeks in Paris for the Olympics, and Cannes advertising shows.
But the best of all might be this past week when he promoted 3 VPs to Corporate VPs (assuring they would get the next exec severance package) and then promoted one Corporate VP to Senior VP. All done without announcement or fanfare of normal VP promos. But one of his boys updated his LinkedIn and gave it away.
In an environment where he has to cut 35% after laying off nearly 800 people in April. Let’s also not forget that sales have been down $3-6B a quarter since he came on board. How he still has a job is beyond me. How he gave give his incompetent team promos like this is wild. Yet, he can still find the money to give millions to 4 people on his staff.
I’ve seen tone deaf, but this fkg guy is at a level I’ve never considered possible.
