Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Private Jets

Must be nice for the exces to keep flying on their 3 private jets to College Station from Houston for football games and flying up to Jacksonhole, WY or down to Florida for “customer trips” while the rest of our company is struggling and facing layoffs…something needs to change and it starts from the top.

These private jets cost Halliburton millions of dollars a year. Come on, a private jet from Houston to college station for a game? I’m just a regular Joe but I feel like that money could be better spent somewhere else and help save jobs instead.

Easy on the executives. Who are we to deny salaried pilots from earning their paycheck - regardless of where they fly. Maybe karma will finally get you corporate complainers back to the office seeing Covid was in 2020.

And I worked in Fresno & pulled the BBQ trailer with a Kenworth from Cypress to College Station for briskets long before it was catered for interns.

SLB operates everywhere Halliburton operates and they got rid of their planes a long time ago…so the consultant/SEC filing is just an excuse for them to keep using the jets.

I don’t see a security threat when it comes to flying to the LSU and A&M football games

I could bring in 800 million in deals if I could sleep with oil & energy executives like Dave Lesar like Knoell Coombs allegedly did.

So I'm supposed to care that a security consulting company that was paid by the board to say that Miller needs to fly everywhere followed through and said what they were paid to say? Independent my butt!

Does the fact that this is on an SEC form make it more legit? The same SEC that refused to investigate claims of accounting fraud when Anthony Menendez went to them years ago?

All those who are only looking at executives perk, please go & try to bring at least 100million USD in business.
If executives are able to bring 30bn $ in business, private jets, luxury yachts are peanuts against that.

Go read SEC Schedule Form 14A, it states the following:

"As a result of the recommendations provided by an independent, third-party security consultant, the Board has determined that Mr. Miller must use company
aircraft for all travel. The security study also recommends that his spouse and children use company-provided aircraft."
