Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

No good managers left

We have no capable managers left at Intel. Everybody who could have made a difference is gone, outside of a few people who are just the exception that prove the rule. It's like Pat is determined to surround himself with yes-men and yes-women who'll do nothing but stroke his ego rather than experienced people who care about the direction the company is headed.

How dare you! Our managers are the best in the industry! None are toxic and untrustworthy. None have ever lied or misrepresented the truth! Shame on you. They are hard working heros on the front line battling and bending over backwards for you !

Management was never really appreciated, so the better ones left years ago … there are some diamonds in the rough , but as a skill set nobody cares , so it’s a horrible place to be good manager - instead it’s about upward management and playing politics …. I left management at Intel for this reason , it’s been a joke for years. The handling of this current crisis is a great example

They don’t want to make a difference simple as that. A colleague even said one Finance VP will not do anything to endanger current revenue. Only now it’s not up to him is it?
