Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Is something big coming? Why all this delay in announcing layoffs and project cutbacks?

Is it just incompetence or wishful thinking or is something drastic like a takeover/selloff-for-parts deal in the works?

The ISP schedule appears to have changed. Managers will BEGIN getting trained on the "shoving their people out of the door" process October 9-13, with notifications starting Oct. 15.

NEX just canceled their open forum, originally set for tomorrow. It sounds like they're pushing it back to after the BoD meeting in a couple of weeks. That should tell you something.

Per the published schedule, the ISP notices will come on/after Oct. 1st. Till then you can be at best encouraged to take VSP.
