Does anyone know the US employee FTE policy for severance pay (only found some other countries policy on the HR Central site/FAQs)?
Is it still identical this year to Voyix or different? As we are approaching Q4, unfortunately needing to ask.

Decades of service, 52 week’s severance and 38 weeks of unemployment, best retirement gift ever. Glad I didn’t get a free lunch and a gift my co workers had to pay for…… doubt anyone now gets this today
US here, my husband was laid off after 19 years on 8/28. The package was by grade. At 08 he got 9 weeks.
Office workers in the US don't have a union, and there are also no employment contracts. Severance is up to the company, and taking it signes away your rights to sue them for anything at a later date - still probably worth it if offered.
Last year Voyix offered severance based on employee level/tier (not time), where it was about 1.5 weeks pay per grade.
Different countries have different requirements, best bet is talk in confidence with someone who has been through it that you worked with. If you Union it’s spelled out clearly in your contract, if your not union you should find out what the union people get to make sure you get a fair severance packed, if your at at all feeling it’s not right, seek legal advice from an employment lawyer, consultation is usually free, if you do hire them a retainer is usually required to get things rolling, but do not sign any papers until you understand and agree to the severance package.
