what was the VMW severance policy that was applicable till nov end ? Have been hearing multiple stuff.
Is the exitCoaching support of 1000$ paid in cash ?
How long before we get any communication on out personal email ? - Its been 3 working days since it was communicated verbally by my manager.

Policy is now one punch in the face per year served.
God help you when this policy expires.
I was a US based employee in a transition role who left in March. At that time, the severance was 2 months WARN salary, plus 2 months of regular severance, plus an additional week of severance per year of service (capped at 12 additional weeks max), plus $1,000 exit coaching bonus, plus my transition bonus. My final day as a BC employee happened to be a normal BC Friday pay day, and I received my entire severance payout in a single paycheck through the normal BC payroll process exactly 2 weeks after my final day. However there appears to be variability in how quickly severance payments are made. I've heard from others who waited several weeks/over a month to receive full payouts. Not sure there's much rhyme or reason to the timing... like everything at BC I suspect the payroll team is grossly understaffed and does their best to keep up.
