Every single time a company is acquired it is followed by major layoffs in one or both companies - but primarily the one that was acquired. If you didn't realize this and were not prepared for these cuts, you only have yourself to blame. I'm not saying it's okay or fair, but we knew it was coming and had time to prepare for the worst. So many people I know are acting like this came out of nowhere and I can't wrap my head around their ignorance.
